Beach Day!

We definitely take for granted that we have so close to the beach and don't make the most of it like we should. Case in point: until this past weekend, {THIS} was the last time we had been to the Biloxi beach..January! Ridiculous. Anyhow, this trip to the beach was much different now that we have a walker on our hands! Whenever we would go to beach previously, Shelby was just content to play in the sand. This time, Shelby was all about the water! And we were totally not prepared for it, which is why none of us are in swimsuits! Ha! We had planned to just take a quick trip to the beach--a short walk along the beach and then we were going to let Shelby play in the sand for a bit...but she definitely had other plans in mind!

Shelby was so excited..she was literally attacking the "waves!" And I put "waves" in quotes b/c we don't really get waves here on the Gulf Coast. ;)

Shelby had a blast running up and down the beach!

Shelby was completely soaked from head to toe and covered in sand by the time we left, but it was so fun! The next time we go back to the beach, we are definitely all going in our swimsuits! It was a real challenge keeping Shelby from going too far out in the water..she had no fear!
